The Brenda Strafford Place is an 80-unit, 6 storey womens' shelter in Northwest Calgary. Kanas manufactured and installed the load-bearing steel stud walls, and the Hambro Composite Joist System for this property. The property combines at-market and below-market housing spaces, a feature which would become a keystone for future developments Kanas was involved in, to help underserved communities.
